Inclement Weather Policy

The winter months have arrived and soon we will be experiencing freezing rain, ice, sleet and snow. The following is Holy Trinity's Inclement Weather Policy:

In the event of inclement weather that causes Loudoun County Public Schools to be closed or to dismiss early, all events at the church building are cancelled for that day. This includes all functions, such as, Wednesday Night, LIVE!, preschool, scheduled church meetings, outside group use, and any other church facilities use. If your event takes place on the weekend, please check the parking lot. If it is not plowed then your event is cancelled. If worship services have to be cancelled, a decision will be made by 6:00am that Sunday morning. For everyone's safety, this policy will allow snow and ice removal to occur before resuming use of the building.

The following steps will be taken to inform the congregation of a cancellation:

Ú The voice mail message on the Church Office's phone will be changed to announce any cancellations. You may check it by calling (703) 777-4912.

Ú A cancellation announcement will be made on WAGE Radio, 1200 AM and WTOP Radio 103.5 FM and 820 AM.

Ú An email will be sent to people who receive the weekly "This Week at Holy Trinity" announcement.
